Cohen Children's Medical Center

Ranked among the top pediatric hospitals in the nation in several specialties by U.S. News & World Report, the Cohen Children's Medical Center of New York (CCMC) in New Hyde Park is a full-service hospital for newborns, infants, children and adolescents. CCMC has undergone a major expansion that included the creation of a 120,000-square-foot inpatient pavilion housing the New York region's first and only stand-alone pediatric emergency center.

Forest Hills Hospital

Forest Hills Hospital

Forest Hills Hospital prides itself on providing high-quality, compassionate healthcare with sensitivity and respect for the cultural needs of patients and their families. The hospital is a 911 receiving site, a certified heart station and a New York State Department of Health-designated Stroke Center. Forest Hills has also been accredited as a bariatric center of excellence by the American College of Surgeons, one of 53 hospitals nationwide and the only one in Queens to obtain the College's certification.

Franklin Hospital

Franklin Hospital in Valley Stream continuously goes above and beyond the call of duty for a community hospital, featuring one of the most advanced Emergency Departments in the region as well as a short-term psychiatric unit and the Orzac Center for Extended Care and Rehabilitation. The hospital recently celebrated the opening of its Center for Surgical Specialties, a state-of-the-art 29-bed unit that is also home to the Institute for Orthopedic Science.

Huntington Hospital

Huntington Hospital

Huntington Hospital has been serving Huntington Township and the surrounding area since 1916. It was the first community hospital on Long Island to achieve Magnet status, an honor that recognizes excellence in nursing, and it is a New York State-designated Stroke Center and Level II Trauma Center. The hospital puts a special emphasis on care of the cancer patient through its Don Monti Cancer Center, cardiac care through the Mariani Family Cardiology Center, maternity and neonatal care, and complex orthopedic surgery.

Lenox Hill Hospital (LHH), a 652-bed, acute care hospital located on Manhattan's Upper East Side has earned a national reputation for outstanding patient care and innovative medical and surgical treatments. The hospital is particularly well known for excellence in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, orthopedics, sports medicine, otolaryngology/head and neck surgery, and maternal/child health with locations at 64th Street, and 77th Street.

Zucker Hillside Hospital

LIJ Medical Center

LIJ Medical Center in New Hyde Park has been on the cutting edge of medicine since it was first established more than half a century ago. LIJ is home to half of the Sandra Atlas Bass Cardiology Centers, one of the strongest cardiac programs in the New York region. LIJ recently built a 250,000-square-foot inpatient pavilion, part of which houses the Katz Women's Hospital at LIJ.

Manhattan Eye Ear & Throat Hospital

A part of Lenox Hill Hospital, MEETH provides thousands of patients a year with the highest quality and most advanced treatments available in its state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery facilities. MEETH also offers numerous outpatient specialty clinics for adults and children.MEETH has an established reputation as a premier academic institution, providing post-graduate training and instruction to physicians and clinicians. The institute trains resident physicians in ophthalmology, otolaryngology and plastic surgery.

North Shore University Hospital

North Shore University Hospital (NSUH) in Manhasset is a cornerstone of the North Shore-LIJ Health System. NSUH features the state-of-the-art Greene Emergency Center. It is also home to half of the Sandra Atlas Bass Cardiology Centers, one of the largest cardiology programs in the metropolitan area, and the Harvey Cushing Institutes of Neuroscience, one of the most comprehensive and renowned neuroscience programs in this region.

Plainview Hospital

Plainview Hospital is home to the very active Kravet Emergency Center, which is a designated Level II Trauma Center featuring a Chest Pain Emergency Room with resources and expertise that are literally lifesaving. Additionally, state-of-the-art wound healing is now available to local residents through a partnership between Plainview Hospital and Long Island Hyperbaric & Wound Care Medical Associates.

Located in Bay Shore, Southside Hospital is one of the oldest and largest hospitals in Suffolk County. The hospital's Regional Center for Brain Injury Rehabilitation is the only New York State-designated, hospital-based adult brain injury unit on Long Island. The Southside Hospital Institute of Neurosciences, a member of the Harvey Cushing Institutes of Neuroscience, offers innovative and multidisciplinary services at the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation stages of neurological disorders.

Staten Island University Hospital (SIUH), in New York City's fastest-growing borough, is a recognized leader in innovative, technology-based medicine. Today, with 300,000 ambulatory visits per year and an exceptionally dedicated and competent staff, the Zucker Hillside Hospital is proud of its reputation as an accessible resource for patients and families from all walks of life. The opening of a 130,000-square-foot inpatient pavilion serves to improve the coordination of services and treatment along the continuum of care.
